As Moranbah’s premier quarry operator and products supplier, our aim at Quarrico Products is to provide a first-class service of the highest quality to ensure that our customer’s projects can proceed without delay or disruption. Our dedicated sales team works closely with our site personnel and haulage team to achieve our goal of maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety, reliability and service to all our customers.
Our Quarry Products
Quarrico currently operates four quarries in the Bowen Basin; Grosvenor Quarry, Coolibah Quarry and Batch Plant, Winchester Quarry and the Doctor’s Claim Quarry. We are in the process of establishing more quarries in the Isaac and Whitsunday Regional Council areas which will allow us to serve a broader region including the Bowen Basin, Dysart, Nebo, Clermont, Coppabella, Middlemount and surrounding areas.
We supply and deliver various quarry products. These include road base materials, aggregate, ballast, gravel, concrete and mine servicing operations in the Bowen Basin Region. We offer onsite coal crushing and screening as well as wet and dry equipment hire. Our clients include local, state and federal government agencies, mining corporations, along with civil and construction companies.
We are certified with the Department of Transport and Main Roads Certified Roadbase. This ensures each product load is guaranteed to be accurate and our loyal customers are receiving efficient services.

Across the entire operation, we employ 59 staff with 31 permanent employees, plus:
- The operations are seven days per week
- An average of 41 staff onsite per day operating on various rosters
- The staff are split across quarry production at the sites, concrete batch plant, haulage, drill & blast, estimation, maintenance & administration
- Majority of servicing, repairs & maintenance are undertaken in-house; however, we access our network of local & regional service providers where needed
- We conduct the majority of the haulage task using our team & fleet; however, we also have a number of regular & reliable sub-contractors who can assist

Products & Services
As a fully accredited quarrying company, we supply and deliver a wide range of high-quality quarry products, including gravel material, road base and aggregate to the mining and construction industries.
As a licensed mobile operator, we supply and deliver quality concrete products courtesy of our state-of-the-art fixed ready-mix concrete batching plant located at Coolibah Quarry Site.
At Quarrico Products, we offer an onsite coal crushing and screening service using customised screening plants to prevent belt damage. We can supply screened coal in quantities as high as 800 tonnes per hour.
Quarrico Products offers wet and dry equipment hire services across Moranbah. We supply the construction and mining industries with equipment such as ventilation devices, water pumps, void fillers and more.
Our Sites
Located on Moranbah Access Road, Grosvenor Quarry is home to a fully-serviced onsite workshop. We offer coal crushing and screening, boiler making, fabrication and much more.
Located on the Peak Downs Highway, the Coolibah Quarry is well-equipped with crushing, screening, loading and excavating equipment to produce a wide range of high-quality aggregates and rock products.
At our Winchester Quarry, located off the Winchester Downs Road near Peak Downs Mine, we have options to expand our production levels to meet all client order requirements.
Located South-west of Nebo, our Doctor’s Claim Quarry is primarily utilised for campaign work. Recently, we supplied over 100,000 tonnes of road base, in line with the clients specifications for a large highway reconstruction project.
Located on the Peak Downs Highway, our Coolibah Batch Plant offers our clients the choice of onsite concrete production. Onsite production streamlines customers’ projects and eliminates haulage fees.
